Litigation and Appeals

While our first goal is to avoid litigation, we routinely appear in the state and federal courts for our clients on matters relating to all of our core areas of practice.

• Litigation: We have extensive litigation experience, including arguing motions before a Court, engaging in discovery and preparing legal memoranda in support of motions. While we always make every effort to resolve disputes at the earliest appropriate opportunity, when the only alternative is a trial, the attorneys at Silverberg Zalantis LLC have the experience required to provide our clients with the level of representation they need and deserve.
• Appeals: We have handled appeals at all appellate levels – from numerous appellate divisions to the highest court in New York State. We are often asked by other attorneys to appear as their appellate counsel on complex land use and zoning matters.
• Arbitration: In addition to our litigation experience, we have handled a number of complex arbitrations.
